The Ark School of Fitness, home of Gainesville Barbell, is hosting a sanctioned USA Weightlifting Competition to raise money for a charitable organization named AYUDA.
The AYUDA Barbell Throwdown will take place on April 7th, 2018. This is a USAW sanctioned single day weightlifting event. This competition is an open event for any USAW members from youth to master.All are welcome.
Our club, Gainesville Barbell, prides itself in hosting ridiculously awesome weightlifting events. We love seeing everyone succeed; we host meets that put everyone in the best positioning for success on game day.
We are hosting this event to raise money for a non-profit organization called AYUDA, which raises money for the education of youth in the Dominican Republic who are living with Type 1 diabetes. To learn more about AYUDA and their mission, visit http://www.ayudainc.net/about
The top 3 athletes in each Division: Youth, Junior, Senior, Master will receive medals.
